Team
Mag. vet. med. Theresa Schmid, Veterinarian, MRCVSI studied veterinary medicine at Vetmed University Vienna and then completed an internship at the surgical and gynaecological department of the Small Animal Clinic of Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. After that, I worked in several practices in Austria and spent a few years as a veterinary surgeon in the United Kingdom, where I fell in love with North Wales. I was lucky to have the opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. My main interests are general practice, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging. I am always trying to improve my skills by attending many courses and CPD to gain more experience in these fields.
Personal life
I am happy to have two dogs and three cats as part of my family and I enjoy spending time with them and in nature in my free time. I like horse riding, travelling, skiing, and dancing when I have the time.
Practice
Our light and spacious practice offers ample room for owners and patients, making them feel welcome and comfortable.We have one consult room, one operating theatre with inhalation anaesthesia (intubation to protect the airway), pulsoximetry, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, capnography and a Cosiflow-warming-system to keep our patients warm and comfortable during surgery, sterilisation for surgical instruments, one x-ray/ultrasound room, as well as in-house blood tests and kennels for critical patients.
